May 14: Loving Movement Culture

Once a month from January through May on Thursday evenings 7:45pm Eastern, 6:45pm Central, 5:45pm Mountain, 4:45 Pacific. The first 15 minutes will be personal introductions. Beginning on the hour, we will dive into the topic and month's activities, ending after 1 hour. We are aiming for short and sweet, focused support with take home steps that you can bring directly into your local organizing.

These sessions cover a range of organizing and movement building strategies that support stronger local groups, leaders, and our growing movements for justice. Most sessions are possible as a stand alone gathering of 1-2 hours, a section on a larger meeting agenda, or in combination as a longer workshop or training, in addition to remote web based video conferences. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more and we can share options based on your location and needs and make a plan that works for you!

Culture is often unspoken and invisible, but we know it when run up against it. In order to grow and sustain our movement for the long haul, we need to support healthy, inclusive, loving movement culture rooted in collective liberation that is both aspirational and relevant to people’s everyday lives and needs. We are making gains, but we face an uphill road, including barriers in our own communities. We are not alone, but we’re not as connected as we could be. More...
